20%-OFFMAN SALE ENDS TUESDAY!

Save as much as $1.60 per yard on all Hoffman and Kaufman Fabrics!

Once again we’re having a little fun with a sale on two of our favorite fabric mills who happen to have sound-alike names. For a limited time you can get an extra 20% off all fabrics by Hoffman Internatioanl and Robert Kaufman… Which is, of course, why we’re calling it our “20%-offman” sale ;-)

Hoffman’s famous Bali Hand Dyed Batiks and 1895 Marbles, Kaufman’s great novelties and theme prints, florals, patterns, reproductions — pretty much anything and everything you’re looking for — you’ll find it all (and more) from both these mills!

In all, there’s more than 600 fabrics that you can save up to $1.60 per yard during the sale.

To get your discount on all your Hoffman and Kaufman purchases this week, just enter the following coupon code at checkout:

So hurry on over to our Fabric Shop and pick up all those great quilting and sewing fabrics from Hoffman and Kaufman now! This coupon expires May 16th and only applies to fabrics in stock, so if you wait, you may miss your chance to save 20% off “man” (and ladies of course)!

You’ll find all the fabrics right here:

(Note: You can also find these fabrics simply typing the words “Hoffman” or “Kaufman” in the search window at the top of the page)

NEW FEATURE: ASK MICHELLE, THE QUILTING EXPERT

Many of you are familiar with a member of the A.H. Mercantile family, Michelle Smith, aka “The Quilting Curmudgeon”. Aside from being our fabric “Cutter-in-Chief”, Michelle donates her skill and thousands of hours of her time every year making quilts to help numerous veterans, children’s and women’s philanthropic organizations. She’s an active member of our community quilt guild, attends classes, workshops and retreats regularly, and has made more than 1,000 quilts over every size shape and type in the past decade. (Whew!)

Not surprisingly, Michelle is somewhat of an expert on anything and everything quilt-related. You name it, if it has to do with quilting, she either owns it, has done it, or knows it (and two good shortcuts as well!).

This week we’re please to announce Michelle is going to share her knowledge with the world with a new feature on her website called “Ask Michelle”.

For everyone who has ever had a question about anything quilting-related (techniques, equipment, ideas, classes, where to find things, bargains, you name it), Michelle will be there to answer.

Even better, all of you get to share your knowledge too! When Michelle posts an answer to a reader’s question you’ll have the ability to add your own tips, ideas and comments as well.

So, if you have a question for Michelle, send her an email at: ask-michelle@ahmercantile. com

To read her answers and you own comments, just visit her site.

See you there!
