Fabric Merchant Bulletin - Fresh Fabrics and a New Website

Posted by: Dispatcher @ 1:24 am

WE’VE GOT A BRAND NEW LOOK!

Greetings!

I’m very excited about this newsletter because as I was writing it our web guy is uploading our brand new website!

Based on your recommendations we’ve reorganized the product categories, made it easier to search the site, and basically “uncluttered” the shops from top to bottom!

If you have bookmarks to certain areas of the site, you’ll definitely want to update them. And if you haven’t visited in a while, now’s a good time to drop by and browse our new site — I know you’ll like what you see!

Twisted Stitcher Quilt Block Socks
Normally we don’t carry things like socks in the Mercantile, but our Director of Cutting and head Quilting Curmudgeon, Michelle, has been raving about Twisted Stitcher’s Quilt Block Sox for so long that we finally broke down and decided to carry the whole line.

If you haven’t seen them, they’re nifty socks with cute quilt block patterns on them — perfect for you or that quilt-crazy friend of yours. (Best of all, they’re 10% off this week! Pick up a few extra pairs as stocking stuffers or secret sister gifts.)

And speaking of Quilting Curmudgeon Michelle — she premiers this week with her own web blog on the site. If you like great tips and tricks, or just want to trade some ideas with an avid (read: a little crazy) quilter, make sure to check out her new site.

At the bottom right of every one of her articles you’ll see a “comments” link. Click on it and you can post your own live message to Michelle. You can ask questions, add comments, or just tell Michelle that she’s crazy (she loves that). See it all and participate right here.
