The American Homestead Mercantile Company is a small, family owned and operated business established in the spring of 1993
with a simple promise to offer high quality goods at a fair price. From the modest beginnings of two people and a shed on a small
farmstead in Bonsall, California (located in the foothills about 60 miles north of San Diego) we've spent the past decade working
hard to grow the company into a thriving organization that ships products to tens of thousands of consumers and specialty
markets throughout North America, Asia and Europe.
We still operate the company from the farm, but the operation has expanded from a single shed to offices and a warehouse, and we now produce and retail thousands of items — table linens, candles, handmade soaps and bath goods, fabrics and more.
Most importantly, we remain as dedicated as ever to offering our customers high quality workmanship and old fashioned value.
